The Venice Sustainable Fashion Forum is a remarkable initiative conceived, designed, and brought to life through the collaborative efforts of three partners: Sistema Moda Italia, The European House - Ambrosetti, and Confindustria Veneto Est. Italy’s fashion and luxury sector, with an annual turnover of approximately €100 billion, employs over 500,000 people across over 60,000 companies involved in various stages of material processing and product creation.
The Venice Sustainable Fashion Forum emerged from collectively recognizing this sector’s vast impact and a shared commitment to driving a sustainable transition. This forum unites companies across the entire supply chain—from raw materials to brand retailers—to identify key challenges, outline an agreed path for change, and launch a scientifically grounded, measurable roadmap for effective transformation.
The event, held on October 24 and 25, featured two days of in-depth discussions on topics that require a strong commitment and long-term vision, aiming to turn the insights gathered so far into actionable steps for the future.
TEHA Group will present "Just Fashion Transition 2024," a new edition of its ongoing Observatory on sustainable transformation within fashion supply chains at the forum. This year, the Observatory offers fresh insights and a critical framework for understanding the sector’s progress.
