The market segment identified as "SMEs" represents a business in turmoil, not only for Italy but also for countries beyond the Alps. This is the starting point for the launch of a French-Italian accelerator project that allows French and Italian SMEs to work together to create cross-border integration and to grow at a global level. The initiative was presented yesterday, December 15th, in Paris and it's the result of a collaboration with Bpifrance and "Cassa Depositi e Prestiti" (Deposits and Loans Fund), and particularly with the support of the French-Italy "Camera di Commercio" (Chamber of Commerce) and ELITE Network.
The accelerator program will take two years and at the moment it involves 40 managers from France and Italy operating in the field of manufacturing and service sectors.
The accelerator project is based on three pillars: consulting, learning, and networking. During the first year, the learning path will be held both in France and in Italy. In addition, the participants will be involved in six additional sessions provided by "Sciences Po" in Paris, SDA Bocconi School of Management in Milan, and MIP Politecnico di Milano. All the activities are sponsored by Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP) and supported by Bipfrance.
These sessions aim at improving business opportunities and facilitating the sharing of experience and best practices between the main players of the Italian Fashion sector. Dedagroup Stealth, already an official member of Elite Network, will give its contribution about the SMEs of Fashion&Luxury, a market that it already serves with a vertical dedicated platform.
